A lace wig is a wig made with a lace net material. The lace is needed because this is where the hair is knotted ( sewn onto). There are 3 main types of lace wigs on the market: A lace frontal, a closure wig or a full lace wig. A lace frontal wig, allows you to part the hair anywhere across the front of the hair. A closure wig usually allows for parting in the centre and the side. A full lace wig can be parted anywhere across the whole head as it does not have anywhere wefts ( tracks) unlike a closure and frontal wig. All Miss Mama Wigs are 100% real human hair.<\/p>\n

Wigs can be worn glueless with clips and a band attached or with tape. Alternatively, you can gel or glue down the wig. No way is better than the other, it’s all about personal preference. Bold Hold Glue OR Ghost Bond which can be purchased from amazon or ebay is good for a waterproof hold lasting 1-2weeks. Gel, such as Got2Be is also good for glueing frontals down and lasts about for 24 hours. Furthermore, you can use tape, combs, clips or a wig grip to wear the wig.<\/p>\n

If looked after correctly and wearing on a non regular basis, the real human hair wigs can last a couple years. If wearing daily, the wigs tend to last anywhere from 6-15 months.
